You’re Doing Your Best — And Your Children Feel It.

Assalamualaikum Wr Wb Dear Parents,

As we approach the midway point of Ramadan, we pray that this blessed month has been gentle on you and your families. May your ibadah — in every form it takes — continue with ease, sincerity, and renewed intention.

Earlier this week, MET registration officially opened. For many parents, this period can feel overwhelming. The process becomes more real, the stakes feel higher, and the emotions are familiar — whether this is your first application or your fourth. It truly never gets easier, and we see the weight that many of you are carrying.

By now, many of you may also start noticing changes in your children. Their resistance may show. Cooperation becomes harder. Power struggles appear out of nowhere. They may refuse to read, refuse to write, or simply shut down. This is normal. This is expected. And it is stressful for them just as much as it is for us.

Help them through it. Ease things for them.

If they refuse to read, read to them.
If they don’t want to write, write
with them — or even for them.
If they want to go to the playground, take them.
If they cannot fast for the day, let them skip it.

Above everything, be kind. They are navigating a lot of emotions, expectations, and changes — and they need us to be their softness.

Once registration is completed and settled, we hope you’ll be able to return to a calmer rhythm and focus on your child’s revision journey. We recently shared a 7‑week revision plan on our Instagram, created especially for parents who may be unsure of where to continue or how to structure their child’s preparation from here on. We hope it can offer clarity, direction, and a sense of steadiness during this period.

We are also trying our best to support you in every way we can. Over the past week, we released a few more resources. We hope they bring even a little ease to your home. And if you ever feel stuck or unsure, please reach out to us via DM on Instagram or WhatsApp. We are always just a message away, insyaAllah.

May Allah grant ease in every step you take for your children, and may He place barakah in your efforts, time, and intentions.

Allahumma Barik Lakum,
Safaa Safiyyah Publication
