Kids Bookfest returns with its 4th Edition, reaffirming its position as Singapore’s only independent, book-centred event dedicated to the Muslim children’s community.
Organised by The Safaa Safiyyah Publication, Kids Bookfest has been held bi-annually since 2024, growing steadily into a trusted platform that brings together Muslim publishers, book sellers, educators, parents and homeschooling mothers under one roof.
Looking back at the memories from our previous festivals, the energy has always been incredible Alhamdulillah. It’s about more than just books—it’s about building a community that values education, creativity and connection. It is also the first and only independent event that brings together local Muslim publishers, book sellers, educators and homeschool moms!
Rooted in community values and educational purpose, Kids Bookfest continues to play a vital role in nurturing literacy, creativity, and lifelong learning among Muslim children in Singapore, while strengthening collaboration within the local book and education ecosystem.
The bookish event is designed to support holistic learning for children by showcasing a carefully curated selection of books across Malay, English, Mathematics, and Islamic studies, catering to both mainstream education, Madrasah education as well as home-based learning environments.
Beyond book, Kids Bookfest offers dynamic and family-friendly programmes aimed at engaging young minds and fostering a love for learning. Highlights include educational talks, storytelling sessions, hands-on workshops, competitions, creative crafts, kids’ activities, and movie screenings.
As we’ve done since the beginning, we’ve curated a full day of programs—from interactive storytelling and craft sessions to insightful talks on dyslexia awareness and Madrasah Entrance Test preparation. It’s a tradition we’re proud to uphold and grow.
A key feature of the event this time round will be the launch of new children’s book titles by participating publishers, providing families with early access to new books!
